    Gemini Predictions

    DCM Approved — Launched Dec 2025

    Gemini (the Winklevoss-founded crypto exchange) received its CFTC Designated Contract Market license on December 10, 2025, through its affiliate Gemini Titan, LLC — the culmination of a five-year application process first filed in March 2020. Gemini Predictions went live on December 15, 2025 for US customers on web, iOS, and Android, offering binary yes/no event contracts on future events.     Sleeper Markets

    NFA Approved Jan 2026 — Live Feb 2026

    Sleeper — the popular fantasy sports app with 10 million users — launched prediction markets inside its app on February 6, 2026, via a partnership with Kalshi. Sleeper Markets LLC received NFA approval to operate as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) in January 2026, following a legal dispute with the CFTC over delays in the approval process. Sleeper is the third DFS platform (after PrizePicks and Underdog) to gain NFA FCM status and integrate prediction markets.     Lumina Markets

    Stealth / Pre-Launch

    Lumina Markets is a stealth-stage prediction markets startup that, per reporting by Business Insider (February 2, 2026), shares staff and a corporate address with Interactive Brokers and was incorporated by an in-house Interactive Brokers lawyer. Job postings described the venture as "backed by a billionaire pioneer of electronic trading" — widely interpreted as a reference to IBKR founder and chairman Thomas Peterffy. Neither Interactive Brokers nor Peterffy has publicly confirmed involvement. As of April 2026, Lumina was recruiting marketing and legal staff and had not announced a launch date. Its website displayed only a logo and the tagline "Future, priced."

    Betr Predictions

    IB Application Pending — Launch Planned 2026

    Betr — the real-money gaming super app co-founded by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, with one million paying users — announced on March 4, 2026 a multi-year partnership with Polymarket to bring prediction markets to the Betr app. The partnership will make Polymarket event contracts across sports, politics, and culture available to Betr's user base nationwide. Betr Predictions LLC applied to the NFA for introducing broker (IB) and swap firm status in October 2025; that application remained pending as of the announcement.     Seeking NFA Status

    SI Predict is an announced, Sports Illustrated–branded prediction markets platform that has been reported to be seeking NFA regulatory status.     RSBIX

    DCM Application Pending

    RSBIX filed a Designated Contract Market (DCM) application with the CFTC on September 16, 2025. RSBIX has been reported to have a prior connection to the Matchbook exchange, and to have previously explored prediction market activity in 2020–2021. As of April 2026, no launch date or additional operational details had been publicly announced. CFTC DCM reviews for new applicants have typically taken months to years.     Kraken, the major cryptocurrency exchange, has been reported to have signaled plans to enter the US prediction markets space in 2026. As of April 2026, no official announcement, CFTC filing, or launch timeline had been publicly confirmed.     Rothera (Robinhood's Own Exchange)

    Q2 2026

    Robinhood acquired MIAXdx (formerly LedgerX) (deal closed January 21, 2026) and renamed it Rothera. This will give Robinhood its own CFTC-regulated exchange infrastructure, expected to launch Q2 2026. Background: LedgerX (crypto derivatives) → acquired by FTX → MIAX bought at FTX bankruptcy → renamed MIAXdx → Robinhood acquired Jan 20, 2026 → renamed Rothera.
